Cherry, chocolate, maple syrup, and cinnamon baked apples on the nose prime the palate for plantain, green papaya, and caramel; tobacco, white pepper, and galangal ride out a dry, woodsy finish

First constructed at the Enmore Estate in 1880, this two-column Coffey still is built primarily from greenheart wood, an evergreen native to Guyana which is one of the densest, most durable woods in existence. All smoky leather and jammy fruit, this still produces the marque that identifiably cuts through nearly every one of El Dorado’s cask aged expressions, truly providing the backbone for the entire range.
