There’s good grip to this red, whose cherry, earth and wild herb flavors stand up to it. A tad dry on the finish, but this should work well with salume and tomato sauces. Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine has aromas of juicy red berry fruit. Medium-bodied and soft on the palate, with balanced acidity and ripe tannins. Delicious with pastas and grilled meats, yet also very drinkable without food.
