Domaine Gilles Troullier Boreal 2015 750ml (No Barcode)

Eric Guido via Cellar Tracker: Following the 2014 which I didn't quite understand for its intensity and richness the 2015 is a return to more classic lines. If tasted blind you might think top-shelf northern Rhone. Upon first opening I found a fresh mix provincial herbs green olive dried flowers black pepper charred meat and crushed blackberry. As it warmed in the glass it gained richness and intensity. Like pure silk on the palate yet lifted and fresh showing black fruit pepper sage violet florals exotic spices and juicy acidity. The finish was vibrant and fresh yet lasting with saturating dark fruits hints of citrus and spice with slightly grippy tannins. I know the best is yet to come but the '15 is so pretty already.
