A stunning wine, my personal favourite. Wonderful on the nose with great ripened dark blue and blackberries, dark chocolate, cedarwood, and cigar box, spices, graphite, earth, full-bodied, powerful fruit, with silky tannin, layered, long aftertaste Remarkable. 2005 Palmer is stunning, full-bodied expansive beauty of a wine. It is a classic Margaux with a Pomerol-like richness. It is silky and gorgeous with unbelievably pure, firm and precise fruit on the palate. With multiple layers of complexity, the finish is long and prodigious.
