Master Distiller John Rempe crafted this highly sought-after release by blending well-aged bourbons (7, 9, and 12 years old) and finishing the youngest ryed bourbon component in Italian Montepulciano and Sangiovese wine casks Nose: Aromas of dark cherry, plum, leather, caramel, and baking spice. Palate: Notes of blackberry, tobacco, brown sugar, cocoa, toasted oak, and layered wine-cask depth. Finish: Long, smooth, and warming with lingering black cherry, dark chocolate, and spice.
