A sip of Cabernet expressing any one of these sites can rightly be described as the wine experience of a lifetime, and The Mascot 2018 is a hedonistic masterpiece. Deep ruby-red in the glass, it fills the room with aromas of dark cherry and blackberry preserves wrapped in cassis, lilacs, and tobacco. Broad and complete on the palate, it has rustic fruit laced with graphite, riding on graceful tannins that resolve in a long, joyful finish.  It’s a magical Cabernet that won us over from the start.
