The Philippe Chavy Bourgogne Chardonnay 2022 is a bright, terroir-driven white Burgundy known for bringing village-level precision to a regional wine. Blended with fruit heavily sourced from top-tier areas like Puligny-Montrachet, it offers a beautiful balance of crisp citrus, white flowers, and a mineral-driven finish. Opens with crisp notes of fresh lemon, green apple, and white blossom. On the palate, it reveals rich stone fruit characteristics (peach and pear), balanced by a silky texture and a flinty, mineral finish. Fermented in stainless steel to retain its vibrant, fresh aromatics, it is then aged on lees for 11 months in older oak barrels of varying sizes, which adds depth, complexity, and a subtle creamy texture without overpowering the fruit.
