The Macallan Diamonds Are Forever 55th Anniversary Release is a limited-edition, 18-year-old Highland single malt Scotch whisky (700ml) celebrating the 1971 James Bond film. Distilled in 2007, it is matured in a blend of sherry-seasoned European/American oak and red wine-seasoned American oak casks, and is bottled at 45.5% ABV. Nose: Fresh and vibrant with aromas of lemon and lime, sherbet, sweet vanilla, and coconut, accompanied by subtle dried fig and raisin. Palate: Bright citrus, orange peel, and effervescent sherbet, followed by gentle oak, subtle ginger spice, dark chocolate, and honeyed baked apple pie. Finish: Long, sweet, and layered with a refined, lingering warmth. Color: The natural color is inspired by the red and orange Aztec sandstone of the Nevada desert—a primary filming location for the movie.
