Hard-packed, concentrated black-fruit aromas are a signal of this rugged Malbec's character. It's blasting with toasty blackberry and pepper flavors, which are backed by spice, heat and a general sense of full but proper ripeness and high quality. Nice quality single vineyard Malbec from Agrelo, Argentina. Deep garnet color with viscous legs. Slightly off dry, medium (+) body with velvety soft tannins and medium acidity. The is replete with aromas of red fruit, dark fruit, tobacco, leather, oak, sage & a hint of tar. The offers flavors of raspberry, bing cherry, blackberry, plum, licorice, milk chocolate, cinnamon, sage, toasted almond, and a touch of burnt caramel. Long and spicy finish.
