Krug Rosé 21st Edition is a blend of 57 wines, with the youngest dating back to 2008 and the oldest to 2000. The 2008 harvest was made from a mild winter, cloudy spring, and cool summer. The oldest reserve wine in the blend goes back to 2000. Krug is known as the master of blended Champagne. Krug separates all of its base wines according to vineyard plots, tastes them individually, and blends them later. All wine is vinified in wooden casks and undergoes malolactic fermentation. Krug Rosé 21st Edition is a Champagne blend. It has a burnished orange-gold color and a complex palette of gingerbread, coffee, fig compote, orange peel, and smoke flavors.
