Chateau Beau Site Haut Vignoble 750ml

The 2012 Château Beau-Site Haut-Vignible offers aromas of cherries and blackberries woven together with roasted coffee, and pain grille notes which all come together in the medium-bodied Saint-Estèphe. This is silky and well balanced, highlighted by a lovely touch of acidity framing the finish where it leaves behind blackberries and a roasted character. A lovely showing that should drink well over the next few years. Atop one of the highest points of the St. Estephe appellation, the vines benefit from enhanced drainage, giving ripeness and complexity, before the 18th Century cellars provide the perfect maturing conditions for a wine produced with the same meticulous care and attention as if it were a Grand Cru Classé.
