Resulting from a rigorous clonal selection, the Pinot Noir vines planted in 1979, 1983\u003cstrong\u003e \u003c\/strong\u003eand 1988\u003cstrong\u003e \u003c\/strong\u003eare grown on deeper clay-limestone soils at the bottom of the slope. The presence of the limestone bedrock at the top of the plot is the source of the imposing structure of the wine, supported by powerful tannins.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIf 2019 starts with a mild winter, the spring is marked by temperature variations and a significant rainfall, leading to a lot of millerandage.
