The term ‘Bottled In Bond’ has been used as both a statement of age, as well as a statement of quality. It follows a government mandated set of guidelines, particularly that whiskey must be distilled on site (no sourcing), must be at least four years old and of the same distilling ‘season’, and bottled at 50% abv. Our Boulder Spirits Bottled In Bond Bourbon is exactly all of those criteria: distilled, aged, and bottled in Boulder, Colorado, aged for 4 years, and bottled at 50%. This expression of our whiskey leads with notes of apple, banana, and bubblegum, followed by a palate of cedar, salted toffee and rhubarb. The finish tells of black tea, walnut and applewood smoke. This is as exciting of an addition to the family as we could have hoped for
