Benromach Batch 1 Cask Strength SM 2007 is Smoked honey ham, bacon fat, salted caramel, burnt marshmallows, cherries, maple syrup, a touch of tobacco. It Tastes Dense, thick coating mouthfeel. Intense, powerful flavors. Smoky BBQ meat, caramel, peppery spice, salted dark chocolate and some dried fruits in the background. A really enjoyable saltiness coupled with a peppery BBQ smoke on the palate. Good stuff. It's Finish is Long. Moderately bitter with oak spice and some lingering sweet BBQ smoke.
