Ardbeg Dolce Cue The Smoke is a limited-edition Islay single malt. It is a fusion of classic Ardbeg and spirit matured in sweet Sicilian Marsala Dolce casks. Bottled at 47.8% ABV, the whisky delivers a dramatic contrast of Mediterranean tropical sweetness and intense, briny Islay peat. Nose: Campfire smoke and charred driftwood layered over sweet notes of candied fruit, apricot, plump raisins, orange marmalade, and dark chocolate. Palate: An oily mouthfeel yields a dynamic contrast. Sweet flavors of maple-smoked wood, honey, date, and dark chocolate quickly shift to savory, earthy layers of brine, roasted nuts, and pepper. Finish: Long, lingering finish with smoky applewood, sooty oak, drying tobacco, and smoldering bonfire embers.
