Black-olive and savory smoked-meat aromas, along with dried blueberry and walnut. It's full-bodied with firm, powdery tannins. Dark chocolate adds to the savory flavors. Concentrated and focused. On the nose, underbrush, dark, ripe plums, cigar boxes, orange zest, beeswax, grenadine, milk chocolates, raspberry pie, crème brûlée, oregano, violets, cedar, and vanilla beans. On the palate, a fresh, round entrance, silky evolution on granular tannins with long finish and notes of cotton, "griotte" cherry, cured meat, lychee, pomegranate, roasted coffee beans, cinnamon, and black pepper.
