With a deep history dating back to 1831, Albert Bichot winery is one of the essential stops on a journey to the heart of Burgundy. Known far and wide for its exceptional quality wines, the winery is now in its sixth generation under the exemplary leadership of Albéric Bichot.Over the years, Maison Albert Bichot has collected tracts of land in some of Burgundy’s most important appellations. These include Gevrey-Chambertin, Chablis, and the origin for this wine, the AOC appellation of Domaine du Pavillon, which lies between Pommard and Volnay. The fruits for this wine are grown on Middle Jurassic-era clay soil, in the Premier Cru vineyard of “Les Brouillards”.
