Alambique Serrano 3 Años Single Cask #296 Hungarian Oak is a rare, single-origin Oaxacan rum crafted from 100% Java sugarcane juice. Distilled on a handmade copper column still, it was aged for 39 months in a new Hungarian oak barrel and bottled at a robust cask strength of 55.9% ABV. Nose: Intense, earthy aromas with prominent notes of star anise, black licorice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and freshly milled oats. Palate: Decadent and robust. Flavors of baked banana bread, green olives, beeswax, and rich caramel are met with baking spices and orange oil. Finish: Medium to long, leaving behind lingering sweet and spicy impressions with a slight touch of warm black tea.
